What a find! It's ages since I had pigeon, certainly before Covid, so it was great to find it on the menu and it was simply wonderful. But the best was yet to come. On the advice of the Maître d' I took the pain perdu for dessert. I think it was the best I've ever eaten. Thank you so much.

This is an utterly charming place with charming service. The food was very nice, the prices are more than fair, and the whole experience was great. If you look for flaws, you can find some insignificant ones, but if you aren't a nitpicking fool, this is just a great place to spend a nice relaxing dinner with friends in a cozy place.

Very unassuming restaurant away from the main touristy part of town. Food was so new and amazing, it was hard to believe this restaurant was in a small village in Provence! Very sophisticated and different flavors, yet highlighting traditional French dishes and fresh local ingredients. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu!! Service was great, and the proprietor was so sweet and friendly, with his talented wife whipping up surprising dishes in the kitchen. Great terrace seats in the garden on a quiet street, with a view of the lourmarin castle. We ate here 2 days in a row!! My daughter was a huge fan of the filet au beouf so we had to come at it again. It was a thick juicy piece of steak, cooked perfectly, and so tender it melts in your mouth! My husband had the kidney in mustard sauce the first day and said it was the least irony tasting kidney he’d ever had. I thought the highlight were the appetizers...eggplant and burrata presented beautifully but all the flavors of a stewed eggplant from a grandma’s kitchen... The shrimp in roasted pepper mousse and green tomato gazpacho to die for!! Yum, I can still taste the fresh garlic in my mouth... Do not hesitate to book a meal at this restaurant. A must stop in Luberon!

Really excellent meal at this lovely restaurant. Great food and wonderful friendly service. There are many restaurants to choose from in Lourmarin - if you try just one you try here. Order the pigeon if it’s on the menu - delicious.
